2019 is a big year for the National Street Rod Association. Why? Because it marks the 50th anniversary of their ever popular Street Rod Nationals event.

The event is probably the most well known in the hot rod community, and this year an all-time-high number of show cars and attendees are expected. Drawing everything from classics from the ’50s to the high-performance muscle cars of the ’60s and ’70s, the Street Rod Nationals is sure to draw some of the most beautiful, best constructed vehicles to one single place, yet again.

For its 50th anniversary, the NSRA is looking to celebrate the event’s successes over the years, and to thank fans for the continued support, with even more fun. In addition to continuing to throw awesome events for us, they have partnered up with JEGS High Performance to give away not only one, but two, LS376/525 6.2L engines in 2019.

The LS376 is one of the most powerful engines offered straight from Chevrolet Performance. Its pushing upwards of 500 horsepower and we can’t think of a car it wouldn’t compliment. The aggressive ASA camshaft is a hydraulic roller and helps the engine deliver outstanding throttle response, with a supposed unreal feeling at high RPMs.

One of the engines will be given away to someone in the NSRA Field Force, but the other one is up for grabs by an NSRA Member. So if you’re not a member, or need to renew your membership for 2019 still… Now is the time. (To sign up for an NSRA membership, click HERE.)

The engine will show up on the lucky winner’s doorstep fully assembled and fully balanced with all the accessories, including throttle body, distributor, oil pan, timing cover, water pump, harmonic balancer, valve covers, flexplate, spark plugs, and wiring.
