There’s no question that the sixth-generation Camaro is one of the most anticipated sports cars of 2015. With its technological advancements and generous weight savings, the new Camaro is going to be a winner. Although we didn’t drive the SS model, we got to tear around Belle Isle in a pre-production V6 Camaro, and it felt great.
If you’re a lover of the wind in your hair and the roar of a 6.2-liter LT1 V8 pushing 440 horsepower, you’re in luck, because the 2016 Camaro Convertible is right around the corner. A few Camaro6 forum members said that these photos were uploaded to Chevrolet’s website, but were promptly taken down. Obviously, they weren’t taken down fast enough because they managed to leak on the forum! However, the 2016 Camaro Convertible looks great. We really like the fact that the sleek lines of the roof were left undisturbed from the Coupe model, and also how the top tucks neatly away under a body-color tonneau cover.

Chevrolet also posted a short teaser video to their YouTube channel, letting everyone know that they should expect the new drop-top variant very soon. Well, we’ve seen it before the actual reveal, and really like it so far.
