Brent Austin’s Brandywine “Daily Driver” Stays Blown!

Working in this industry has its perks. Every now and again, we get a tip or an inside scoop on a really radical ride. Such was the case recently when our friends at ProCharger gave us a call.

Our buddy, Rob Kinnan – maybe you’ve heard of him – hit us up and told us about a wicked first-gen Camaro we had to see. Fortunately for us, it was just a couple of clicks away, since they had recently featured the car and its owner on ProCharger’s website.

We know, we know, if you’ve seen one first-gen Camaro, you’ve seen them all, right? Wrong!

This ’67 pony car was not only built to commemorate ProCharger’s 25th anniversary, but was built by none other than Brent Austin. That’s right, the owner of Megalodon – one of the baddest no-prep cars in the world!

Brent says he built the real-deal SS/RS four-speed car into what you see before you because he, “just had to have one of the 25th-anniversary packages” [from ProCharger].

That House Of Kolor Brandwine really pops!

Brent already owned the ‘Maro, which he bought from a buddy a few years ago. So, naturally, he just had to make room for that sweet 25th-anniversary special-edition blower. Not to mention the car is 100-percent streetable – not that we imagine he’ll be pulling daily driver duty with this bad boy. But, still – it would be a lot more manageable on city streets than Megalodon, that’s for sure!

Although, that’s not to say this Brandywine beauty is a slouch by any means. While Brent has yet to get it on the dyno or make a pass with it, he estimates its power output in the neighborhood of 1,200 horsepower.

That 25th-anniversary edition ProCharger F-1A-94 supercharger and intercooler combo look right at home mated to that monster LSX 454 GM crate engine. Oops, did we get some drool on our keyboard...

So, you can understand his trepidation with regard to sending it down the 1320 any time soon – it doesn’t even have a cage, after all.
