At long last, car show season has arrived! Along with more sunlight and more time to enjoy our classics, car show season brings fun and camaraderie through happenings and gatherings. We are fortunate to live in an era when it’s easy to find great events throughout the country. So, get your planner out or ready your spreadsheet. Here are our recommendations for places to see cool Chevrolets and enjoy the classic and performance car lifestyle.
Organizations With Multiple Car Show Dates
Goodguys Rod & Custom Association: With thirteen events scheduled from now through the end of 2025, it’s a good bet that Goodguys has a great local event near you. Each date attracts thousands of cars and features a variety of awards that promote the building and customization of pre-1973 classics. While you’re at their shows, don’t forget to catch AutoCross, burnout competitions, swap meets, music, family happenings, and select drag racing showcases.
Holley LS Fest: With three events scheduled for 2025, Holley LS Fest is a celebration of anything with Chevrolet LS or LT power. LS Fest usually attracts thousands of cars and features autocross, drifting, drag racing, donuts, burnouts, off-road, celebrities, a dyno challenge, and a massive car show.
National Corvette Museum: With two major events planned for 2025, the National Corvette Museum’s gatherings feature some of the most diverse and unique itineraries. Attendees can enjoy everything from guided cruises and a museum-judged car show to behind-the-scenes tours, museum artifacts, and tech sessions with GM Corvette specialists.
National Street Rod Association: With events scheduled from April through September, NSRA provides a great chance to see some choice hot rods. In addition to thousands of cars, each event features vendors, a swap meet, family activities, live entertainment, and a slew of awards.
The C10 Nationals: With two events still on the books for 2025, the C10 Nationals is one of the largest Chevrolet truck shows in the country. In addition to awards, C10 Nationals features autocross, burnouts, donuts, drifting, vendors, a dyno challenge, and various opportunities to ride in cool specialty vehicles.
Street Machine Nationals: With events scheduled for May and June, Street Machine Nationals usually draws a positively massive number of cars. Features at one or both events include show-n-shines, historic displays, swap meets, vendors, burnout challenges, autocross, dyno challenges, family zones, and the QA1 open house and cruise.

June
Hot Rod Power Tour: Hot Rod Power Tour travels through five cities over the course of a week, with stops in each location featuring vendors, motorsports activities, and ample time to hang out with fellow Long Haulers.
Carlisle GM Nationals: A celebration of all things GM that attracts thousands of cars, the Carlisle GM Nationals features a little something for everyone. In addition to the Nova Nationals and the third-gen Camaro and Firebird Nationals, spectators can participate in tech seminars and check out special vehicle displays. There’s also autocross, vendors, burnout and donut contests, a flea market, an exhaust contest, a club contest, a nitro fest, and celebrity appearances.
Minnesota Street Rod Association Back To The ‘50s Weekend: The pride and joy of the MSRA for 51 years running, Back To The ‘50s Weekend features a car show, vendors, a swap meet, a ladies showcase and, for 2025, will serve as the starting point for another awesome classic car event: The Great Race!

The Syracuse Nationals: If you can’t find something cool at the Syracuse Nationals, we’re not sure what to tell you. In addition to a car show and multiple car features, Syracuse offers vendors, a swap meet, celebrity appearances, nitro row, a burnout competition, pinstriping and painting, a dyno, and a poker run. There’s even RC racing, a Wall of Death motorcycle display, a pinewood derby, a Women’s World shopping area, and an official picnic.
Cruisin’ The Heartland: A one-day event put on by the city of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Cruisin’ The Heartland has been recognized as one of the top cruise-ins in the nation. Activities are pretty standard, with cars, vendors, and a swap meet being the main focus.
August
Corvettes at Carlisle: Attracting over 3,000 examples of America’s Favorite Sports Car, Corvettes at Carlisle features a flea market, vendors, seminars, autocross, an exhaust competition, and much more.
Woodward Dream Cruise: Celebrating 30 years in 2025, the Woodward Dream Cruise is a one-day event that spreads 40,000 cool cars across nine cities and townships. If you can’t see it on Woodward, chances are you won’t see it anywhere.
Berger Chevrolet All GM Show: Unfortunately, 2025 will be the final year for the Berger Chevrolet All GM Show. This year’s festivities include the car show, a track day, a cruise, live music, and the unveiling of a special mural that commemorates a century of Berger history.
September
Hot Rod Drag Week: A Hot Rod Power Tour for street-legal drag cars, this event requires participants to complete a 1000-mile trip through five cities while trying to secure the quickest possible elapsed time across all the drag strips the tour visits.
Triple Crown of Rodding: Attracting high-quality builds from all over the country, the Triple Crown of Rodding is more than just an awards show. It also features vendors, celebrities, nitro dragsters, a pinstriper charity auction, and free Share The Ride experiences.
October
Cruisin’ The Coast: Attracting thousands of vehicles each year, Cruisin’ The Coast is a multi-city affair that takes place in Mississippi over the course of a week. For starters, this event travels through some of the best beaches America has to offer. Attendees can enjoy cruise-ins, a block party, a classic car parade, a swap meet, live music, autocross, and gasser racing. If none of that seems appealing, there are vendors, a drive-in movie, celebrity appearances, feature cars, seminars, a flame-throwing competition, and much more.
C10 Fall Revival: Held at historic Denton Farmpark, the C10 Fall Revival is one of the fastest growing shows in the nation. While the event is free for spectators, the organizers do accept donations, and all donations are given to local charities.
November
Emerald Coast Cruizin’: Another excellent beach event, Emerald Coast Cruizin’ combines a massive car show with live music in beautiful Panama City Beach, Florida
The Daytona Turkey Run: A welcome retreat from winter’s haze, the Daytona Turkey Run is held at the Daytona International Speedway. In addition to a massive car show, attractions include vendors, a swap meet, the Hops and Hoods beer festival, the Turkey Run Nites nighttime car show, and Artisan Alley – a marketplace of handmade crafts and fashion items.
Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals: In addition to being a well-known car show, MCACN includes vendors, seminars, invitational and special displays, a bicycle show, celebrities, special unveilings, music, and family-friendly activities.
