Usually we are trying to find something that will be interesting for our readers, which predominately being do-it-yourself videos. Once in a blue moon we stumble across one of these videos that is as entertaining as it is thought-provoking. This video is one of those.
After a pretty extensive search, we tracked down the mastermind behind this video. Going by the name “Ichiban Moto,” the man behind the scenes has a seriously dry sense of humor and fierce following on his YouTube channel. His amazing array of videos certainly fit into the “too good to be true” category as he expertly fumbles through each topic by breaking every maintenance rule that he crosses. We literally LOL’d at some of the phrases he used in this particular video.
There is little doubt that the character is extremely intelligent and fun-loving. The thing that we didn’t expect to find in these videos is the drive that the viewers have to discover the proper way to do the maintenance covered in each film. Rust removal is a topic that we all have encountered and one that we would love to find an easy solution for. That is where the genius of this video really comes into play. Anyone that uses a spork as a measuring device is obviously doing it for fun.
Ichiban Motor works hard to keep his identity hidden, and we wouldn’t divulge it even if we knew – but we would pat him on the back and say “Thank you for all you do.”
