Normally when a car goes down a drag strip, the goal is to go straight and fast as possible. In this race, a normal pass happened until the cars passed the finish line.
Two 1969 Camaros line up and put the loud pedal down when the green light flashes. The camera is focused on the silver ’69, which hooks hard and does a massive wheel stand. The car bounces around a bit, settles, and is off like a rocket.
Racing down the track, the silver Camaro in the far lane takes the win. We see the blue Camaro in the near lane passes the finish line, but wasn’t able to take the win. Then things take a turn for the worse when the driver in the blue Camaro lets off the gas and slams on the brakes.
Instantly the blue Camaro shoots to the right, narrowly missing the silver Camaro. The driver tries to correct and the back end of the Camaro comes around on him before he has a chance to react. The Camaro continues to slide around, completing a complete 360 degrees. Lucky for the driver, the Camaro stayed in the middle of the track and didn’t smack the wall or flip the car on its roof. The blue Camaro continues on safely, most likely with his heart pounding and soiled pants.
Luckily, nobody was hurt and no cars were damaged either! Most likely the worse thing that happened was some flat spotted tires.
