It made be hard to believe, even to your author, but CamaroZ28.com has been around for twenty years now. If you’re somehow not familiar with the website, let us bring you up to speed. First, it was originated by Chris Frezza, a Camaro enthusiast who created the page for other Camaro owners immediately after he picked up his ’93 Z28.
Two years later, Frezza expanded it to a message board forum so enthusiasts from all over the world could share their stories, photos, and technical content with other forum members. It’s still one of the premier late-model Camaro and F-body forums on the internet today.
That same year, he also managed to trade in his ’93 , a slushbox car, for a brand new ’95 Z28 with six forward gears. Even though Frezza has managed to hang onto that car, he still took it upon himself to add a 2012 ZL1 to his garage last year.
But where this story gets interesting, is when General Motors invited Frezza to attend the unveiling of the 2014 Z/28. Obviously very shocked and honored by the invitation, he tells Faces of GM that witnessing the unveiling of the 2014 Z/28 as one of the top three car moments of his life.
We wouldn’t doubt it, and we agree with GM for inviting Chris Frezza to the event. Anyone who has been devoted and passionate about late-model Camaros as he has, certainly deserves the long-overdue attention and recognition for his commitment to the marque.
