If you know anyone who has ever been involved or affiliated with the racing industry there’s a good chance they have heard the name Moroso at some point and time.
The company was founded in 1968 by the late Dick Moroso, who was successful drag racer himself. However, he was best known as owner of a number of cars that raced in NASCAR’s Winston Cup and Bush Grand National events.
Also the owner of Moroso Motorsports park in Palm Beach Gardens, FL — His passion and drive over the years helped build Moroso into what it is today. They’ve pioneered the electric water pump, light weight front drag tires, and tall valve covers to name a few innovations.
The company is home to Competition Engineering, Moroso Wire Technologies, along with a plethora of other in-house products ranging from dry sump oil pumps to wheel studs and more.
To this day they continue their efforts for innovation and to supply high quality parts to the performance industry by adding CAD, CAM, and CNC technologies to their manufacturing processes. Recently, Moroso has put out feelers looking for a new Challenger Hell Cat as a test and R&D vehicle. With ads like that, it’s no wonder Moroso has done so well at being a well known name in the industry for so long.
