Ever since it’s initial debut back in 2007, the modern Transformer movie series has been a hit, featuring plenty of cool cars and a number of big-name Hollywood actors. This time around, it appears to be no different as the Transformers 4: Age of Extinction full-length trailer was recently released. Check it out above for a look at what’s to come for the Autobots in 2014.
Though the Transformers series has gotten somewhat of a bad wrap in the past due to each movie’s length, plot and cast of characters, the Michael Bay films never fail to hit the mark when it comes to explosions, plenty of fight scenes, cool cars that transform into crazy robots and a slew of pretty women. For the fourth movie, this hasn’t changed as Mark Wahlberg joins the ever-changing cast of characters as an auto mechanic who happens to purchase Optimus Prime disguised as a rusty old semi.
A conflict with the government results, putting Wahlberg’s on-screen daughter, played by the beautiful Nicole Peltz, in harm’s way. This is where all hell breaks loose and we get to see those explosive scenes we’re all so used to in Transformers movies.
Of course, there’s also set to be an abundance of neat vehicles in the movie, from a couple of first-gen Camaros, to a bunch of Cadillac Escalades and even a Pagani Huayra. There will also be a Chevy Sonic Rally Sport, seventh-generation Corvette, and a (rumored) Bugatti Veyron.
Transformers 4 hits big screens on June 27th.
Now, will the next Transformers movie (if they make one) have a different cast of characters? Probably, but why bother with thoughts like that when you can enjoy the killer vehicle/robot characters in this round of the popular series?
