With the summer of 2018 coming to a close and the end of the car show season drawing near, it’s time to winterize our cars and start getting our 2019 car-show calendar ready! It’s never too early to start planning when there are shows, cruises, and auctions happening every weekend.
The Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals are already promoting its event spread for next year, including two-days of fun with three events packed into Friday and Saturday. On June 21 and 22 of 2019, you will get to experience the Chevrolet Nationals in all its glory: the car show, the swap meet, the Carlisle auction, and a spectacular display dedicated to Hurst cars! See all the amazing GM classics you can feast your eyes on, check out the special Hurst showcase, and take the opportunity to buy your own a car.
The Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals have always focused on all-things GM: Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and even Saturn. The event draws more than 100 years worth of automotive history, and is a dream for anyone that is a fan of General Motors vehicles. This event should be on every car guy and girls “car show bucket list.”
This year, the Carlisle Chevrolet Nationals introduces a Hurst-specific display. The gathering will feature some of the best Hurst vehicles in the region, and is already scheduled to have between 15 and 20 cars this year on display.
Also this year, Carlisle Events is adding an auction to the weekend festivities, to make the event a more all-encompassing extravaganza. The auction will take place on Saturday, and spectators will get to peruse the grounds on Friday and Saturday before the auction to check out the cars.
With a full weekend planned — the show, the Hurst exhibit, and the auction — this is one show you definitely won’t want to miss. If you’re close by, great. If you’re far away, make a road trip out of it — either way, if you can only make it to one big show this year, we suggest you make it this one.
