For the past 32 years, RMHC of Central Valley has been hosting an annual car giveaway to benefit families in need. The raffle is their biggest event, allowing us gearheads to try to win the car of our dreams while simultaneously having a positive impact on other people’s lives.
In last year’s drawing, two killer red ‘Vettes were offered as prizes – a 2015 Z06 and a ’67 427-equipped Stingray. While it’s hard to beat a pair like that, RHMC’s prize gets even more desirable every year; for 2016, they’ve one-upped themselves by offering not only another pair of magnetizing Corvettes, but also a reproduction MKIII Shelby Cobra from Superformance.
But of course, we all know the real incentives here are the Corvettes. We recently told you about the late model 2016 drop-top Z06, but now let’s take a look at an old school beauty that’s also up for grabs. Check out this really nice 1963 Corvette Split windows coupe that could be yours too. It’s a pristine, restored car with a 300hp, 327 V8 backed up by a 4-speed manual transmission. Red on red with spinner caps and skinny whitewalls is a killer color combo and a crowd pleaser to boot.
It’s stone stock but that’s okay because this ‘Vette doesn’t need any mods, it came from Chevrolet damned near perfect.
So if you needed any other inspiration to help the RMHC of Central Valley spread a little well-being, how about $20K in addition to the car? Yup, you read that right, $20K smackers to pay help pay the taxes. Be sure to check out the Central Valley RMHC website for more info on how to enter.
