When talking about a properly restored or modified classic, the devil is in the details. Your hot rod could have the coolest paintjob on Earth, but if small trim items are not at least up to par, the overall appearance is not as great as it could be.
Such is the case with the underhood appearance. Jeff Johnson at JJ’s Rods understands the importance of details and has developed something for the first-gen Camaro that is long overdue.
“This is a new product for a ’67 through ‘69 Camaro,” stated Jeff. “This new firewall rubber-boot seal is a direct bolt-in piece that attaches using the factory seal’s attaching holes.” We’re told it takes less than an hour to install and seals the firewall from hot air, engine fumes, and dust. If you have an old factory rubber boot that’s deteriorated from age, this would be the perfect solution for your classic. The boot will fit all stock and aftermarket steering columns, and this small detail will surely enhance the look of your underhood area.
If you’ve got a first-gen Camaro that could use a new column seal, check out JJ’s Rods to find out more.
