World-class performance companies Mallory Ignition and Roush Yates have combined forces to create a unique partnership that will bring new products and contingency programs to the automotive and racing market.

“With this partnership, Mallory Ignition can extend its reach into NASCAR, drag, truck and circle track
racing,” said Prestolite Performance President Steve Campbell. “We are excited to see two celebrated
brands work together to create new, innovative products and grow our respective businesses.”

Products created through this new partnership will bring together the decades of experience in ignition development from Mallory with the fabled racing engineering and technology boasted by the team at Roush Yates. The first collaborative effort between the two renowned brands comes with the launch of the Roush Yates and Mallory Ignition system with coil, which will be available at select retail locations and online at mallory-ignition.com and roushyates.com.

“Earlier this year, Prestolite Performance approached Roush Yates with an opportunity to partner,” said Doug Yates, CEO and co-owner of Roush Yates. “The decision to collaborate came at the perfect time as we were also looking to expand and team up with a strong brand that had a quality reputation and innovative product offerings.”

The new Roush Yates/Mallory Ignition system is a digital multi-spark capacitive discharge ignition for endurance and high performance applications. Features include a fully encapsulated design for maximum resistance to moisture, dirt and vibration, a built-in high performance digital processor with easy-to-adjust, no chip required rev limiting, and less power draw than comparable boxes (6.0 amp at 8800 RPM).

In addition to new products development such as the newly branded ignition system, the partnership between Mallory Ignition will include more than $75,000 in now contingency awards. Roush Yates will also be in the field at races and other events over the course of the year, showcasing their products developed in conjunction with Mallory.
