Everyone that is passionate about automobiles has either been to an auto show or at least followed one online.  Each year millions attend these events to see what the big three are going to release and what different style changes they are going make to upcoming models.

During these auto shows large manufactures like General Motors and Ford will release a few of there concept cars and projects to show what these designs might look like in the near future.

Although these concept cars can look pretty cool there are many that don’t make it into production and are scraped.  Some of these concept cars are created and not ever seen by the public eye.

Don’t you ever wonder what these big auto makers are doing behind closed doors? What ever happened to all the concept models that could just not cut it and didn’t make it to the show room floor?  Well GM has reveled there “concept graveyard” with some of the concepts that failed.

First up is what the Cadillac Escalade may have looked like if the designers where approved. The styling resembles the rear end of a Hummer or a Jeep while in another design looks more like an Acura with a more sleek design.

The next concept from GM is a Chevelle with styling like the new Camaro I can see why this design didn’t quite make it to the show room.

The last concept is from Pontiac and has there ever popular open front end design.  The rest of the car design resembles a G6 or even an eclipse.  With the Pontiac going under we may never see anything from them again.

With an ever growing auto market place the designers will keep designing concepts that don’t make it to production. We just may never see what might have been on our show room floors.
