In the early 1960s the Chevrolet Nova was introduced to the public and quickly became one of American automotive icons. Like the Camaro, the Nova got a whole new revamp in power and style in 1968 and become one of the most popular years when it comes to any old school muscle car.

In today’s market there is a huge love for fixing up old muscle cars and putting a modern touch to them, like putting a modern LSX-powered engine under the hood of a 1969 Camaro, Nova or Chevelle.

We found a company that is putting its own touches on a 1969 Chevy Nova which they are calling a Z/28.  Now back in the 60s you could always find a Camaro Z/28 roaming the streets but Chevrolet did not make this package available to Nova owners, until now.

Pure Vision Design has come up with a design for the ’69 Nova that will not only add some eye candy but some extra power under the hood as well. Pure Vision wanted to design something that would be eye catching and stir up the nova fans.

The Nova is equipped with a 406 block with the dual-quad cross-ram induction setup with an output of 504 horsepower. This is enough power to keep up with the new Corvette Z06. Next, they put in a Tremec 5-speed transmission that will sure be fun for ripping gears around town.

A set of Budnick wheels where installed along with a hugger orange paint job and custom hood stripes.  Although this is no camaro it will sure catch the eye of any Chevy lover as being a very unique ride and what could have been.  One ride in this car will take you straight back to the 60s with the power of today.
