During this year’s game there was a lot of excitement. But not all the excitement was over the game. This year, fans where glued to the TV to make sure they didn’t miss a minute of the car commercials, particularly one for Chevrolet. The Nielsen Company collected all the data from the week following the Super Bowl, and came up with numbers on how many people watched these commercial and the top ten in different categories.
Coming in first was Chevrolet with the new Camaro commercial named “Miss Evelyn” with an estimated 119,628,000 viewers – the highest of all time. In this commercial two guys where describing what they thought would be an awesome Carmaro commercial and the car would do as they said, driving through the desert, the city and then finally to a school with a hot school teacher getting out at the end.
Following right behind the Camaro with 119,333,000 viewers was the Chevrolet Cruze commercial. It looks like this year it turned out to be all Chevrolet, dominating the previous years record from Doritos with 116,231,920 viewers.
