All American Sundays Now A Fixture Of Goodguys National Events

Goodguys has announced that their All American Sundays activities which is open to American made and American powered cars and trucks regardless of year will be a part of 15 of the 16 Goodguys National events in 2013. This continues the program initiated in 2012 that saw the participation of over 1,800 cars.

Formerly known as the Super Sunday Get-Together, All-American Sundays provides an opportunity for owners of late models to compete in Show & Shines, Autocross and other event activities and also be eligible for awards given at the Sunday afternoon awards ceremonies. The program which was originally conceived to increase event attendance on Sundays has become a popular addition to the Goodguys programs.

One of the Goodguys National events will not include the expanded program. The Goodguys 27th West Coast Nationals on August 23-25 in Pleasanton will retain the traditional format of 1972 and earlier vehicles exclusively for the entire weekend.

The return of the muscle car allows more people to become involved in the world of hot rodding, custom cars and high-performance automobiles. Obviously this decision will allow enthusiasts that have purchased late-model Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, Corvettes, and other domestic muscle cars an opportunity to join in on events not previously opened to them. This will also allow the owners of popular later model customs and street machines access to fun events across the nation.

Goodguys events have always been fun to attend and the inclusion of late model cars and their fans can only enhance the experience. The All American Sunday schedule for 2013 is as follows:
