If you drive around any small town or big city, you will see more lifted trucks than you can shake a stick at. Everybody wants their trucks higher than the factory shipped them, and the folks at MaxTrac Suspension are here to make that happen with a new adjustable suspension lift kit.
Check out the new adjustable lift kit for 2019 and newer Silverado and Sierra 1500 trucks. That’s right, we said adjustable. According to JJ Simpson of MaxTrac, “we will be marketing these kits as both a 7- to 8-inch kit and a 9- to 10-inch lift kit. The kit is 99 percent bolt-on, works with electronic steering, and includes everything needed to complete the installation.
MaxTrac Suspension’s K941971 kit (shown below) is a 7- to 10-inch subframe lift kit for 2019-plus GM 1500 four-wheel drive trucks. It is comprised of 8-inch subframes, ductile-iron steering knuckles, twin tube adjustable struts, differential drops, kicker supports, and blocks/U-bolts/shocks for the rear.
JJ went on to say that the average time needed to install the kit is five to six hours. With the popularity of deep-dish wheels being the norm, the less-than-stellar scrub ratio of these wheels does require a smaller diameter tire. Now, running a larger diameter tire is an option that will provide a better ride and an overall better driving experience.
If you’re ready to give your 1500 Chevy or GMC a lift that delivers not only a higher ride but also a much better one, then it might be time to check out the adjustable MaxTrac suspension kits.
