As part of Spohn Performance’s “Let’s Light ‘Em Up” Friday feature, incredible cars are featured every week doing burnouts and donuts on the company’s Facebook page. Last Friday was no different, with a blown first-generation Camaro featured lighting it up on a drag strip for our viewing pleasure. This isn’t just an ordinary burnout, however, but rather a magnificent display of automotive artistry.
The video was shot a few years ago at Melbourne’s Easternats. Starting out like a traditional track burnout, the Camaro quickly turns into a half donut, creating a cloud of smoke that blankets the track. With the crowd cheering, the Camaro then proceeds to do donut after donut with loud blown-engine overtones. For the majority of the video, you can’t see the Camaro because of the incredible amount of tire smoke it produces.
With over 2.1 million views on YouTube, you know the video has to be good. If you’re ready to see a burnout like no other you’ve seen before, check out the video below. Make sure to turn up your speakers to get the full effect of the burnout display.
