With the ten-year anniversary of 9-11 on the horizon, GM elected to honor the first responders and victims of the tragedy with five pearl white 9/11 Angel Series Camaros. Camaro5 featured the upcoming appearance schedule of these memorial Camaros along with a host of information regarding the significance of each car. One of the five cars is designed to memorialize the victims of lost on each of four flights (American Airlines Flight 11, United Airlines Flight 175, American Airlines Flight 77 and United Airlines Flight 93). Another Camaro is designed to proudly represent the heroic First Responders at Ground Zero, the site where the World Trade Center towers once stood.
Two of the cars are designated to remember each of the Twin Towers lost when hijackers flew airliners into the World Trade Center. Yet another Angel Camaro was designed to signify and observe the memory of those lost during the American Airlines Flight 77 was crashed into the Pentagon on that tragic day. Each of these extraordinary 9/11 Angel Series Camaros features the names of every victim who fell prey to the cowardly act of terrorism. Each of the five Camaros will feature unique artwork along the sides and doors symbolizing each aspect of the 9/11 events. All five of the cars will take part in 9/11 events on September 9-11.
