Not everyone has the skill, time or dedication to build a pro-touring car, but for those with the cash or a great credit score purchasing a car is always an option. Occasionally a diehard will part with his or her car thanks to a divorce, financial issues or from simply losing the desire to participate in the sport. On Pro-Touring.com a Bahama Blue ’69 RS/SS Camaro found in the Classified Section caught our attention.
After reading the mile-long list of parts, upgrades and enhancements the Camaro seems like a bargain at $35,000 or best offer. Imagine trying to locate a decent ’69 RS/SS car along with the cost of the car, parts and labor, this seems like the perfect purchase for the less mechanically inclined enthusiast.
For those longing to see one of the many LS variants, this will be the one place where this ’69 may disappoint some; what sits under the hood is a 383 cubic inch LT4 power plant, granted it is older style of engine than the LS, but it is still worthy of respect. As a consolation to those LS conformists, the seller is willing to knock $5,000 off of the price by selling the ’69 without the engine and the T56 6-speed transmission.
