What makes these stainless steel gas tanks unique is how they can be equipped with an in-tank fuel pump. According to their website, “Rick’s is the first manufacturer to offer a stainless steel street rod gas tank that can be converted to an in-tank fuel pump. This is a feature that can be engineered in all of our stainless steel gas tanks at a minimal cost. The in-tank conversion can be configured to fit any after market fuel pump of the owner’s choice.” The pump sits in separate chamber within the tank to eliminate starvation during low tank levels, and all tanks are baffled to control fuel tank slosh.
