Can you imagine opening up your garage doors every day and seeing over 140 classic Chevrolets? What would it be like to have everything from a 1912 Little Four, to a 1969 427 Yenko Camaro? Oh we can only dream!

But, for Dennis Albaugh of Ankeny Iowa, this is a daily occurrence. What started as a simple purchase from a friend has turned into something amazing. In the span of 13 years Albaugh has created one of the most historic collections of Chevrolets. In a recent story with the Post-Gazette.com Albaugh was quoted about the collection, “”I told my wife I was just going to get the tri-series,” referring to the 1957 Chevy that started the collection. It’s safe to assume that he didn’t stop there.

According to the Post-Gazette.com, Here’s what you can expect to see at the collection:

• separate set of convertible Corvettes (1953-75) as well as Chevelles (1964-72) and Camaros (1967-69)
• Tri-Five Chevrolets, the models built for 1955, 1956 and 1957.
• 1912 Little Four — the year Chevrolet began producing cars
• ’39 Standard roadster, made by G.M.’s Holden division in Australia
• 1969 427  Yenko Camaro
• 1953 Corvette, one of only 300 made

LegendaryCollectorCars.com reported that the private collection is only opened to the public once a year for a charity event called “The Albaugh Classic”. In august of 2009 the event drew over 4,200 spectators and raised over $60,000 for charity.
