Holley Performance has been located in Bowling Green, Kentucky, since 1951, being a huge part of the economy in that area with over 250 employees at their Russellville Road facility. Every NASCAR team since 1960 has been powered with products made in Bowling Green, including the current EFI throttle body.
With the National Corvette Museum (NCM) Motorsports Park right in their back yard in Bowling Green, Holley Performance has committed to sponsor the Park’s Control Tower and Event Center. The two-level Holley Control Tower and Event Center will total 12,600 square feet in the NCM Building, which includes 1,800 square feet reserved for other functions, including classrooms, meeting rooms, retail and lobby, reception, administrative offices, race control and more.
The second level of the structure will include a 2,100 square foot viewing deck that will be available for private events, and on the paddock side of the building will be a Winner’s Circle Podium. The overall design of the Holley Performance-sponsored building will be patterned after the museum.
Trevor Wiggins, Holley’s VP of Sales, said, “It is only fitting that two great American motorsport brands like Corvette and Holley unite with our sponsorship of the NCM Motorsports Park. This track is going to secure Bowling Green’s identity as a motorsports town and we’re proud to be a part of it.”
“We have been talking to Holley since we first announced that we were building a Motorsports Park and they were as excited as we were,” said Mitch Wright, General Manager of the NCM Motorsports Park. “Those conversations grew into something bigger and we are thrilled to have them on board.”
Construction of the Holley Control Tower and Event Center is planned for 2015.
