The art of the burnout could fill volumes of leather-bound books at the right way, the wrong way, and the artful way of burning rubber. You’ve got your classic brake-and-peel, smoke-blowing donuts, the one-legger, so on and so forth. We’ve seen semi-trucks, motorcycles, and even donks do burnouts. But we’ve never seen something as crazy or coordinated as this triple burnout.

Yes, you read that right, a triple burnout. While this video, from the Land Down Under’s cousin New Zealand, has been making the rounds on the Internet for a while, it’s the first we’ve seen of it. And boy did it put a smile on our face.

So what we’ve got here is a flatbed tow truck carrying a Holden Ute (a Kiwi El Camino.) Nothing so strange about that, right? Oh what, there’s a motorcycle in the bed of the Ute? OK, that’s cool, nothing out of the ordinary yet.

Of course, that is no ordinary flatbed or Ute, judging by those lopey idles. Both vehicles sound heavily modified, especially once they start shredding their tires. These aren’t puny, short burnouts either; they keep going and going. We feel bad for the guy on the motorcycle!

We also feel bad for the engine of that Ute. Pushed up against the back of the flatbed like it was, we can’t imagine that engine was running too cool. And the way that Ute lurches on the bed of the tow truck has us all kinds of nervous. But damn if they don’t put on an awesome show.
