We’ve been guilty of throwing the phrase “Corvette Rape” around. While that might sound a little harsh when considering that “beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” we’ve seen some pretty horrific Corvettes out there. For whatever reason, people have taken the liberties of hot rodding to all new lows, resulting in four-door ‘Vettes, a handful of station wagon ‘Vettes, raised, off-road ‘Vettes, and a limo or two. Why thrift store graphics and Auto Zone hood scoops are still appealing to people, we’ll never know.
This time around, though, things are kind of different. We nabbed this atrocity against common sense and good taste over on VWVortex, a VW site that loves to find reasons why anything is better than owning an American car (particularly when considering people who own American cars do this to their cars). From the end of the hood and the A-pillars we can tell that this rolling nightmare was once a second-generation Camaro or Firebird.
Nearly every inch of this F-Body has been covered in plastic crap or reshaped with limitless pounds of Bondo. The end result is a bizarre reminder that taste is subjective.
