If you haven’t gotten enough Transformers action from the last three movies, well, you’re in luck because Michael Bay is currently filming the fourth film of the series. But it’s not the fact that another Transformers film is in the works that’s the surprise. Rather, it’s that according to MichaelBay.com, Bumblebee will be taking a new form for the upcoming feature.

Throughout the Transformers series, Bumblebee has been played primarily by a fifth-generation Camaro, clad in now an iconic yellow and black paint scheme. But for the fourth round, Bumblebee will be taking on more of a classic look- that of a highly-modified 1967 Camaro SS.
You can’t get any more classic than that, even with the original second-gen Camaro version of the Bee.
The 1967 version of Bumblebee comes complete with two-tone matte black and a gold-ish hue (seemingly) paint scheme with a yellow nose stripe. You’ll also notice bolt-on fender flares, wide-as-hell rear tires and a front splitter. All in all, Bumblebee looks like one nasty pro-touring beast!
Few other details have been released about the film, set to hit theaters in 2014, but one thing is for certain, Bumblebee will not be the only one getting a facelift.
In fact, Michael Bay has also released images of the new Optimus Prime, now a custom-built Wester Star semi truck, and two new characters that have yet to be named.
At least one of these characters will also resound with Chevy fans as it takes the vehicle form of a race-inspired C7 Corvette Stingray.
Hound, left, and an unnamed Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse are just a couple of the new characters set to make their debut in Transformers 4.

Is this the revised look of Sideswipe, the Corvette Stingray Concept car that debuted in the second Transformers movie, or a whole new character?
