The 2025 TRIM Road Tour wrapped up in style at the Triple Crown of Rodding event in Nashville, Tennessee, where the final stop delivered another standout build. Tennessee resident Michael Smalls took home the fifth and final Road Tour win with his striking teal 1965 custom C10 dually.
Smalls’ truck showcases the craftsmanship that defines the TRIM competition. Inside, a TMI Pro Series Deluxe Bench Seat is finished in premium brown distressed vinyl, highlighted with black contrast stitching and buck tan inserts. The addition of Double Diamond Stitching ties the look together with a touch of sophistication. This theme carries throughout the cabin with matching materials on the door panels, dash pad, and an impressive custom speaker box along the rear cab wall.
The speaker box stands out for its dual function, doubling as a tasteful gun rack. Two revolvers and a shotgun mount seamlessly into the panel, blending form and function in a way that is both creative and unique. Smalls’ dedication to detail and cohesive design secured his place as the final stop winner on the 2025 TRIM Road Tour.
Overall Winner Crowned At Texas C10 Nationals
With five regional champions chosen throughout the year, the TRIM judging panel faced the task of selecting the overall 2025 Road Tour champion. Judges Kevin Oeste, Sara Moroson, Theresa Contreras, Sean Holman, Marcel Venable, and Jason Mulligan evaluated the builds. He ultimately awarded the honor to Ruben Terraza’s 1968 C10, which earned its spot earlier at the Texas C10 Nationals.
Terraza’s C10 immediately drew attention for its originality. His build introduced design features never before seen in a TMI-equipped interior. The centerpiece is a VXR insert pattern that combines two shades of vinyl with micro-suede accents and black grommets. The unique texture and color play elevated the look, setting the build apart from anything previously showcased.
So striking was the design that Terraza extended the VXR insert pattern into other areas of the build. Matching inserts appear on the headliner and even as floor mats, creating a level of interior consistency rarely achieved. Judge Chris Baker of the C10 Nationals praised the concept, noting the impressive mix of materials and the innovative use of the insert design.
Destination SEMA
Winning the overall TRIM Road Tour title comes with more than recognition. Terraza now holds a coveted invite to the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, taking place November 4–7. His C10 will enjoy a feature parking spot at the show, while he earns entry into the Top 20 finalist round of the TMI Products TRIM Awards. The prize package also includes a pass to the show and a five-night hotel stay, ensuring he is part of the action in full.
The 2025 TRIM Road Tour highlighted the best of TMI’s craftsmanship and the creativity of builders nationwide. With Smalls closing the tour in Tennessee and Terraza taking the overall crown in Texas, the stage is set for an exciting showdown at SEMA.
