If you’re a fan of the early C10 truck (’67 through ’72), you know how great these hot haulers can be to modify and enjoy. Until recently, however, being able to find rust-repair panels has been tough. Thankfully, companies like United Pacific Industries (UPI) are stepping up to help enthusiasts eradicate rusty hot rods.
We recently received notification about the latest offering from UPI that caters to early C10 rebuilders. The latest reproduction sheetmetal is of the original outer rocker panels. With this new panel, enthusiasts will notice all the contour and detail found on the 1967-72 Chevy and GMC truck are now available in a quality reproduction piece. Each rocker panel is made with high-quality steel that showcases a smooth stamping – making it easy to form during installation. Each panel is also covered with a black EDP coating to keep the panels fresh and rust-free.
“As many C10 owners know first-hand, the outer rocker panels often get damaged by rocks and other road debris and are prone to rust”, said Jai Baek, marketing and creative director for United Pacific. “Offering high-quality replacement rocker panels has early C10 enthusiasts very excited and we’re happy to provide them with parts they want and need.”
The release of the outer rocker panels for the 1967-72 Chevy and GMC trucks extends the already massive catalog for the C10. New rockers are now available to order on UPcarparts.com or at local United Pacific authorized dealers.
