The Thunder Valley Raceway Park in Noble, Oklahoma will be invaded by almost 350 No Prep racers August 11-12 for the biggest No Prep race ever when Outlaw Armageddon kicks off. All the insane racing will be broadcast live RIGHT HERE on SpeedVideo.com from Thunder Valley when the action begins on August 11.
Outlaw Armageddon revolutionized No Prep racing when it first began three years ago and it has been growing steadily ever since. More than 20,000 fans have been to each Outlaw Armageddon and it’s those types of crowds that make the racing atmosphere electric. The hometown setting of Thunder Valley Raceway adds to the allure of this event and gives it the feel of a Cash Days-style street race.
For 2017, Outlaw Armageddon has expanded their All-Star Shootout by 16 drivers to allow the fans to vote on the 48 racers they wanted to see run head-to-head. This premiere class will have racers like Big Chief, Murder Nova, Daddy Dave, Kye Kelley, Larry Larson, Birdman, The 55, BoostedGT, Disco Dean, and many other No Prep heavy-hitters trying to win the $40,000 purse that’s on the line. Every round of the All-Star Shootout would be the final round at any other event, so the fans will get their money’s worth for sure.
If a racer didn’t make the All-Star Shootout they can try their hand at the Big Tire and Small Tire Open classes. Both of these races will feature even more incredible No Prep racers who have a shot to win $20,000. The popular True Street class is going to be packed with tons of street legal machines that will be racing for their own $20,000 prize. Also on the race schedule will be the Truck/SUV and Late Model classes, where racers can win a cool $5,000 for being the last man or woman standing when eliminations end.
For the Big Tire and Small Tire racers who want to try and bring home a big payday, there’s the Big Tire and Small Tire High Roller classes. Each of these feature a 32-car field with a $2,000 entry fee per class … but that’s the price you pay to be considered a high roller. These classes offer the biggest payout to each Big Tire and Small Tire winner with a chance to win $50,000. Racers will be leaving it all on the track for the High Roller classes trying to pick up the win, so you won’t want to miss ANY of this action.
