When a gearhead thinks “lubrication,” sooner or later he thinks “Lucas Oil,” and for good reason. With decades upon decades of experience crafting top-tier oils, additives, and other vital automotive fluids, the company’s products are to cars what apple pie is to the United States of America – they just go together.
Tom Bogner talked to us at this year’s SEMA Show about what is big for this year – the Synthetic Racing line of products, made to satisfy enthusiasts who require the extra oomph to get their ride across the finish line.
“We still have terrific options for our grassroots customers, but this line is definitely more of a premier’ quality,” said Bogner. “This is our big push this year, and we just introduced it into our catalog.”
The Synthetic Racing line touts an amazing host of features. They are blended with the top-shelf base oils and a Lucas-exclusive additive package containing a high degree of specialized zinc, moly, and phosphorus. These additives provide a tougher, slicker additive film for great protection and minimum drag, protect against cavitation, stand up to high temperatures without power loss, and are excellent for use with turbo-charged four- and six-cylinder engines, as well as nitrous oxide-boosted applications.
These oils are available in a variety of weights, including 5W-20, 5W-30, 10W-40, and 20W-50, as well as two options for size – 32-ounce and 160-ounce. There are also Semi-Synthetic Racing oils that have been announced, which carry much of the same benefits as the Synthetic Racing line. These come in 10W-40 and 20W-50, and are compatible with methanol or racing fuels, as well as blending capability with synthetic and non-synthetic oils.
As you can see, the folks at Lucas Oil have racing on their minds. If you do too, or if you want to see how the company’s products can support your personal vehicle, check out the website and telephone number provided below.
