In this video from Vimeo, Mr. Michael Brown of Michael Brown Productions, gives us an inside look at his personal Corvette Collection at his Texas residence, and what could possibly be the ultimate Corvette Garage. Brown, who you might recognize as the producer of “The Quest”, explains to us that he first became smitten with Vette’s at the age of 10, when he first laid eyes on the 1963 Sting Ray, and became determined to own one for himself.
Today, Brown’s collection features a grand total of 13 Corvettes that call his Chevrolet haven their home. The collection is comprised of three C1’s, five C2’s, one C3, one C5, and three C6’s. (Poor C4’s, they get no respect.) Highlights of the collection include Brown’s very first Corvette; a silver ’63 Split Window, a ’78 Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car, and a 2012 Centennial Edition ZR1 (VIN #100). You might also recognize Brown’s ’54 C1 and the Centennial ZR1 from the wildly popular “It takes a Chevy” Super Bowl Ad contest submission from his production company.
Brown’s garage also features numerous cool Corvette novelties; everything from neon signs, to Corvette branded Segways, and even a heavy duty safe with a Corvette emblem to hold the titles and paperwork to each car. Brown says of Corvettes, “You either like them, or you don’t. But if you like Corvettes, you really like Corvettes. Count me in that group.” Check out Brown’s site for his collection at Hooked on Vettes.com for more info on the collection.
