New from Forgeline – the ML3 wheel for their Heritage Series Wheel line. This wheel features a retro look modeled after the vintage Minilite Trans Am wheel. See more details below.
Official Release:
Forgeline Motorsports is expanding its Heritage Series Wheel line with the new three piece ML3 wheel.
With styling references borrowed from the Minilite Trans Am wheels of the late 1960’s and early 1970’s, the forged ML3 features ten semi-rounded soft-sided spokes for a retro look that is combined with Forgeline’s modern lightweight engineering and manufacturing techniques. It is available in both deep and shallow concave profiles in a wide range of sizes, including 18, 19, and 20-inch.
“At Forgeline, we work very hard to create new wheel designs that meet the styles and applications that our customers are looking for,” said Forgeline Motorsports President Dave Schardt. “We believe our ML3 will become very popular within the pro touring market as well as with muscle car owners.”
Machined from 6061-T6 forged aluminum, the new Forgeline ML3 Heritage Series Wheel has extreme stiffness and fatigue strength with a 1700 lb. street-tire load rating per wheel. In addition to the standard brushed aluminum, the ML3 is offered in several finish options that will add flair to any popular muscle car.
Forgeline built the new ML3 Heritage Series Wheel with a fully-forged three-piece construction using the company’s computer-simulated FEA design process, which ensures high quality and a strength-to-weight ratio that is 40% stronger than cast aluminum.
