The folks at BMR are always looking for ways to improve the A-body platform, and have recently debuted their rear suspension kit for GTOs, Chevelles, 442s, and GSs of that precious 1968-72 era. Made from 1.5-inch and larger DOM tubing, the kit has just about everything needed to help these muscle cars perform at their handling peak.
Official Release:
Launch harder, reduce wheel hop, and add cornering consistency on your 1968-1972 GM A-body with a Rear Suspension Kit from BMR Suspension. Manufactured from 1-1/2-inch and 1-5/8-inch DOM tubing, this kit includes upper control arms, lower control arms, and control arm reinforcement braces. The BMR Rear Suspension Kit (RSK017) uses greasable, 95-durometer, internally-fluted polyurethane bushings, which add a more responsive feel over the factory rubber bushings. BMR designed this kit to work well for street performance, drag race, and handling applications. The heavy-duty construction of the upper and lower control arms eliminate flex, giving you much improved repeatability on the street, starting line, or in the corners. This kit is the perfect upgrade for the enthusiast looking to improve performance, while maintaining acceptable NVH and ride quality. Installation time is 3-4 hours. Available in black hammertone or red powder coat.
