If you’re on your computer a lot for work, or even once in a while to go through your spam emails, you know the importance of a stand out wallpaper to illustrate on your desktop. After all, you can only stare at the default wallpapers on your computer so much before being completely bored. Luckily, The Block has you covered, posting up a great Chevy wallpaper every Wednesday to download and enjoy for free, and this week, it’s a 1958 Apache pickup truck that can be gracing your screen with vintage appeal and good ‘ole Americana!

The Chevrolet Task Force trucks were introduced in 1955 and ran through 1959. With the classic truck design, Chevrolet lead the way with innovative features like a wrap-around windshield and egg-crate grille, as well as creature comforts like available power steering, power brakes and overdrive on some models. Chevrolet also offered six-cylinder and V8 options in the vintage trucks.

The latest Wallpaper Wednesday selection from The Block comes at an excellent time as we recently got the experience of getting to know an awesome Apache owner in Colorado with quite the story for his truck. While John Davis’ truck is a year newer than the yellow ‘58 on The Block’s wallpaper, the two trucks are nearly identical in quality and appeal. We mean, who can say no to a pristine vintage Chevy pickup?
