SEMA 2011: Proform’s Expanded Line Of Dress-up Accessories

Cruising the seemingly endless rows and blocks of SEMA, it was hard to miss the Proform Parts booth this year. What grabbed our eyes first was the completely bedazzled small-block engine sitting in its booth. Love it or hate it, it was hard to miss. Aside the from their eye-catching gem, Proform had a ton of new parts on deck.

Proform Parts has a ton of tools, too; supplying nearly everything you'll need for a complete engine build.

We of course, prevented ourselves from drooling and allowed Lou Lobsinger to take over and illustrate all the new goodies. Lobsinger walked us through his new products, which even included a ton of tools like their pro-like, Heavy-duty valve spring compressor.

Lobsinger showed us a ton of new products on deck for this year and Profrom was hitting the LS market hard with all new valve covers and dress-up items. Lobsinger was adamant not to leave the Mopar fans out of the loop. “What we’d like to have is complete licensing from the Big-Three and the Mopar name is becoming a house-hold name, again. We’re in the process and have future plans to include some Mopar dress up items…”

Proform's line is now including Chevy Orange and its become one of their best sellers.

Through innovative engineering, Proform has developed a valve cover that will take your generic looking stock LS engine, and give it a totally personalized look. These new valve covers are taller than stock valve covers, and can accommodate a wide variety of large valve train applications. These valve covers are available in 5 different styles, which include raised and recessed emblems. Unique mounting studs, and oil restricting baffles are included. Threaded mounting holes for Integrated Ignition Coil Bracket included.

Proform Parts also has Ford Racing valve covers for the Blue Oval fans, too. These premium valve covers are “Tall,” and designed to clear roller rockers and polylock nuts. They have raised and milled emblems. All valve covers include baffles, grommets, and a pair of unique bolts.

All new this year are Proform's Ford 289, 302, 351W Slant-Edge valve covers.
