We’re already more than a month into the new year and time seems to be flying bye even quicker in 2013 than previous years. The new year has brought a few changes in our digital magazine and some exciting new directions for the Chevy Hardcore online magazine and facebook fan page.
Amazingly, technology changes as quickly as the passage of time. To keep pace with technology changes, Chevy Hardcore is shifting gears to make social media a larger presence in our digital world.
While we have done a good job of bringing our facebook fans the best content from our digital magazine and entertaining facebook posts, we have not done as well focusing on you, our Chevy enthusiast fans.
You may have already noticed that we have been posting photos that our facebook fans have sent in. This has been part of the Chevy Hardcore changes to highlight our loyal readers and make the fan page a true online page for the fans.
Traditional automotive magazines have always had columns that addressed reader’s questions on a variety of topics. One of our new commitments to the Chevy Hardcore digital magazine is to adopt a monthly column where reader’s automotive questions are answered by the brightest and best technicians and engineers in the field. We’re looking forward to adding the “Ask the Experts” column within the next two months.
In addition to providing a gateway for the fans to ask industry experts technical questions, we are looking to profile the newest automotive parts before they show up in the marketplace. We want our fans to know what is coming before it shows up on the shelves.
One of our most exciting additions to the Chevy Hardcore digital magazine is the opportunity to profile some of our reader’s project cars. While we do have project builds of our own that are consistently being wrenched on at our in-house fabrication facility, we have the unique opportunity to make our readers a larger part of the magazine.
2013 promises to be a real defining year for the Chevy Hardcore digital magazine and our fans. Embracing and utilizing the latest in electronic technology is going to make our magazine unlike any other media today by making the fans a bigger part of the team.
Our team looks forward to meeting and working with every one of you in the digital world.
