PRI 2012: Davis And Holley Team Up For New Traction Control Lineup

Here at PRI, Davis Technologies has revealed another great product that embodies this integration aspect, designed for use with the popular Holley EFI vehicle management systems. Davis is offering their EFI-TC1 and EFI-TC1, giving racer’s two options of traction control.
At the SEMA show Dart Heads released their brand new LS block, the first of it’s kind from Dart. For the PRI show, Dart has their updated aluminum small block Chevy and small block Ford engine blocks.

Joe Gibbs Driven Expands Technology to Gear, Power Steering Fluids

Lessons learned from developing advanced synthetic racing oils has led Joe Gibbs Driven to formulate synthetic gear and power-steering fluids. Key to the advanced technology is using mPAO base stocks, which deliver a significantly higher viscosity index than mineral base stocks or traditional PAO stocks.
Along with the release of tons of new products this year, ACT has also focused on furthering the performance of its 10.5 and 11.5-inch twin-disc clutches and expanding the line to new makes and models of vehicles.
Smaller engines and tight engine bays present challenges to turbo makers, so Garrett is focusing on improving its line of midsize turbos, including the GTX 28R, 30R and 35R models. These are good for engines ranging in size from 1.4L up to 4.5L and from 200 to 750 horsepower.
Turbonetics is introducing a full-featured turbo for drag racer competing in the popular X275 class that limit turbos to specific dimensions, and the company is also releasing a series of T4 turbos for customers needing a little more boost.
