This 1936 Chevy Sedan, designed by NASCAR Hall of Famer Ray Evernham, blends racing history with advanced modern technology. Unveiling the car at the 2017 SEMA show in Vegas promised to get a lot of eyes and attention. However, taking the car to different tracks this year, including Pikes Peak, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Road Atlanta, among others, will certainly get a buzz going.

The car is an old school-style build that Evernham is familar with, having raced these cars on circle tracks in the east as he evolved into an award-winning crew chief and car builder. Driven to build safe cars and use some modern innovative technology that still allowed the styling and aesthetics of vintage racecars, Evernham took on the project to raise awareness in vintage car racing with a concern for safety.

Housed under a 1936 Chevrolet sedan body, this specially-built racecar has the appearance of a retro modified that would have been raced during the 1960s, but features state-of-the-art mechanics and electronics. Evernham plans to drive the car himself, while also putting other professional drivers behind the wheel to test its limits.
