Mike Davenport, a salesman at Bachmann Chevrolet in Louisville, Kentucky, has just leaked pics of what he says are rear fenders from a C8 Corvette.
He is located near the now temporarily dormant Bowling Green factory, so he does have proximity to where these alleged parts might have come from, but this video raises many red flags.
We all know how tight-lipped GM is regarding ANY info about Corvette’s future so a brazen leak to YouTube is ballsy indeed.

The fact that he works for a Chevy dealer is risky as well. If these pictures are real, he’s not just a hacker or anonymous guy in the bushes taking spy shots, he’s an employee of a franchisee of GM. Dude, they know where to find you…
If these pics aren’t real, then this is a clever stunt to garner coverage and recognition on the web and for that, we say, whatever it takes to get clicks and move the metal, (or SMC,) all is fair in love and war–and selling cars.

What say you? Do you think these pics are real? Is this guy asking for trouble from GM? Would you buy a car from this guy?
