Rarely do you see American iron outside the borders and when you do they are usually not in the best shape but there is exceptions. However this isn’t the case with this Camaro, covered by 1320 video. While on a business trip in Brazil, this Camaro was only a block away. Curiosity got the best of the gentleman so he had to check it out.
What he found was this street legal Camaro with a whopping 1,500 street able horsepower. What’s even better is that the owner took him for a ride! Upon the start up you can hear the fuel pumps run for a second before the engine fires. The engine that roars to life is a twin turbo charged small block Chevy that runs off 100 octane ethanol. The engine itself is a Dart block and heads with a special ground cam, with a set of big Master Power turbos. We also note that the engine is fuel injected with several computer controllers in the car giving the owner full customization.
Having over 100 passes on the car, the owner says that the best pass to date is in the high seven second range in the quarter mile. He also states that in the eigth mile the car is capable of running low five second passes.
The only disappointing thing is we didn’t get to hear any wide open throttle blips when it was on the street, just casual cruising with shocked on-lookers.
