The boys at GM never envisioned an all aluminum 434 ci small block Chevy with EFI on wimpy 91 octane gas producing over 600 horsepower back in 1963. It’s here now, and it’s planted into a 1963 split window Corvette.
The crew at J & E Pro Streets, LLC and Beck Racing Engines joined to build one of the sweetest Pro Touring rides around, a classic 1963 split window Vette with a beastly SBC under the hood. There’s not a lot of information available on this build yet, but we can tell you that the heart of this beauty rests in the Beck Racing Engines turn key engine package.
The small block Chevy is their standard Street Kill engine package featuring a naturally aspirated, electronic fuel injection, Gen 1 sbc with MAHLE forged coated pistons and rings and a SCAT 4340 steel crankshaft.
Most of the Beck Racing Engine’s Street kill series engines come with SCAT premium rods, Dart Pro 1 aluminum heads, crane hydraulic roller cams… so we have to assume the same is true of this beast.
