Do you think you have the coolest ride in the world? Well, you’re wrong. That title goes to a motorized barstool that currently resides in Australia and was featured on a local show called “Add a Motor to It.” That’s right, we said a motorized barstool and thanks to a video posted on RideLust, we are taking a look at all, get this, 454 cubic inches of it.

Obviously this isn’t just your ordinary instance of a small motor mounted to a random object like those motorized coolers you see. Inspired by a barstool he saw in the United States, Kit Anderson of Australia set out to create a version of his own that would smoke the one from America, and that he did. The barstool sports a Chevy 454cui big block with an 850 double-pump carburetor and a high-performance camshaft that Anderson says is good for about 480hp. That’s equivalent to the power of a Ferrari 430 attached to a bar stool.

Now what on earth do you do with a 480hp barstool? Well you drive it to your favorite bar of course, that is if it were street legal. Unfortunately, since the barstool lacks brakes, we don’t think it is. With a top speed of only 22mph, however, we don’t think not having brakes is that big of a deal. If it came down to it, you could use the transmission to slow you down, or maybe just bail off the side of it.

Although it can’t be driven on the road, the barstool is good for a couple things. Astoundingly, the barstool can tow about 2,000lbs, enough to get a small car from Point A to Point B. With the ability to get to its top speed in just over a second, it is also good for racing your buddies on other motorized objects.
