Rally races generally take place on both dirt and pavement, providing unique and exciting racing. The cars in these events are usually lightweight, compacts with small motors that are heavily modified to pack a punch. The are usually cars like a Subaru Impreza, Ford Focus, Dodge Dart or Chevy Sonic.
However, that doesn’t mean that an old Camaro wouldn’t be a great rally car. The video above is a true testament to that, as we see one see sweet second generation Camaro tearing up the turf. The Camaro seems to have a healthy motor powering the car as well, which sounds like music to our ears.
The driver is calm and cool, piloting the Camaro with ease. Even on the slick dirt road, he slides the back end around with ease. This reminds us of any episode of Dukes Of Hazzard with the Duke boys sliding the General Lee around the back woods. At one point, he roosts the spectators on the side of the road, now that’s up close to the action!
We don’t have anymore information on the video as it’s not in English. Poking around on the internet we did find out that this is a race held in Sweden, with only old cars racing. Now that’s cool, a race in Sweden with American muscle on the track.
