Each year, the folks at Original Parts Group (OPGI) put on a series of shows to bring together various brands of General Motors’ cars. On July 14 of this year, the Chevrolet group had their chance to shine. The all-Chevy show was held at the company headquarters in Seal Beach, California, and even though OPGI limited the event to cars for which they carry parts, the turnout was awesome. The show area was filled with pre-1983 Chevelles, Malibus, Monte Carlos, El Caminos, and Corvairs. “Corvair is the newest catalog we’re launching,” Natallie Loukas of OPGI remarked.
In addition to the cars, there were food trucks to feed discerning car guys, drawings for great prizes, a DJ, and plenty of trophies. One of the great prizes given away was a 295-horsepower, 350 cubic-inch small-block Chevy engine. The lucky winner of the engine was Victor Munoz from San Bernadino, California.
With vendors, prizes, trophies, and of course, the awesome Chevys attending the show, the day was definitely fun-filled. If you want to see the show in little more than six minutes, check out the video at the top of the page. For more images, check out the gallery.
