With the NASCAR season ramping up for the year, those lucky drivers who find themselves behind the wheel of a potent NASCAR machine are facing a lot of work for the next few months. But that doesn’t mean that in their off-season, they don’t know how to have a little fun. In fact, this video proves just how much fun a professional driver can have with the help of a makeup artist, video crew and an unsuspecting salesman. Jeff Gordon-1, used car salesman-0.

We all know how pesky some car salesman can be no matter how much you tell them you’re just looking, but nothing could have prepared this unsuspecting salesman for the reaction he’d get when showing off a fifth-gen Camaro to “Mike,” a disguised Jeff Gordon.

Convinced into a test drive, Gordon (as Mike) takes the wheel and heads out with the salesman on a tentative test drive, or so the salesman thinks.

Gordon has other ideas, however, and proceeds to give the salesman the ride of his life, doing donuts, racing down streets and even taking on industrial loading ramps.

Scared half to death, the salesman starts out professionally requesting that Gordon slow down, but after Gordon continues his stunts, the salesman resorts to yelling and foul language to try to get his point across. Of course, this only makes the stunt more hilarious.

Once finished with the test drive and safely parked back on the lot, the salesman bursts out of the passenger side door threatening to call the cops. That is until he finds out that the driver was actually Jeff Gordon, to which he replies “Want to do it again?”

Sure, there will be arguments about whether or not this stunt was scripted and about the ‘09 designation on the Camaro’s windshield but just look at it this way- if you’re enough of a car guy and could use some comedic relief for your week, these things are simple to overlook for the fun of it all.
