We all know that adding an LS engine to just about anything will make it cool. When you add one to a light weight pick up truck, that makes it one awesome truck that can flat boil tires. 

You can barely see the S-10 with all the smoke!

Insert here a early to mid-90’s S-10 pick up that had a heart transplant. Instead of a measly 2.2L straight four that couldn’t outrun a snail, this dime has been outfitting with an LS engine. The truck itself looks fairly stock from the outside, even sporting stock appearing wheels. This makes for a great sleeper truck. 

The LS engine dropped in is what makes this a neat truck. This isn’t a stock LS engine either. The list of upgrades include an LS6 camshaft, LS1 intake, 1 5/8″ shorty headers, 3″ exhaust and Corvette accessory drive. Electric exhaust cutouts were outfitted as well to help the engine breath and sound even better. 

One of his favorite things to do is just flat out boil the tires. In this video he keeps going until one of the tires blow. In other videos we see him make more smoke than a coal burning factory. The owner does more than just create big clouds of burnt rubber though. 

There is also this video of him drag racing this potent S-Dime. He turns a 13.61 second quarter at 101MPH. Very respectable for a fairly stock truck and engine. We hope to see more from this truck in the future. This truck just proves again that putting an LS engine  into anything will make it cool.
