No matter what generation of Camaro you own, we can safely bet it’s been modified in one way or another. As enthusiasts, we’re hard-pressed to keep our cars stock, but for good reason. We love power, and we love making our cars unique to us, and it’s also how we interact in this tight-knit community.
While some of us prefer to buy a special edition Camaro from the factory or a dealership, others like Camaro6 forum user EDFHOBBIES like to take the customization into their own hands. The owner of the claimed ‘first ’16 Camaro SS bumblebee edition’ hit up Phastek Performance out of Houston, Texas to complete the aftermarket job on his all-new ’16 Camaro SS. The owner exclaims that Phastek did a superb job handling the project, ensuring every detail was executed precisely. However, the finishing touches on this Camaro really make the entire package shine.
During the production of the fifth generation Camaro, GM offered enthusiasts a ‘Transformers Special Edition’ package in 2010, which was to commemorate the first Transformers movie released in July of 2009. The movie became so popular, that many GM dealerships nationwide had trouble keeping with the demand for the special edition Camaro. The original package was priced at $995 and was offered as an option on either the SS or LT models. This sixth-gen owner has commented that the car will stay naturally aspirated for most of it’s life, as he already owns a twin-turbo fifth-gen Camaro as well.
Although, we can’t help but be a bit jealous when we learned this Camaro is a test mule for the new line of Borla exhausts for the sixth-gen.
