Driven Racing Oil Now Has Race Cars Using Ethanol Gas Covered

Driven Racing Oil, a manufacture of high quality oils has come out with another line to help keep your motor running strong. That product is the Carb Defender additive, however this time the additive is specifically for racing applications.

Last year we did a full video covering the Driven Racing Oil Carb Defender line for street cars, which saves your motor from ethanol in carbureted gasoline engines. Since ethanol is alcohol, that ethanol will draw moisture and water out of whatever is near it.

What happens is that the ethanol infused gasoline will dry out the seals in your carburetor, which can cause a whole host of problems. Corrosion also increases and that can cause things to stick or not flow properly.

If you store your car for long periods of time, such as all winter long, this can cause even bigger problems. That gives time for the alcohol to suck the moisture out of the gaskets along with increased corrosion. This can give you a big headache when you fire up your ride in the spring.

What if you have a race car? Driven Oil has you covered as well. They now offer Carb Defender Race Concentrate, specifically for race cars. The concentrate is designed to work with E85, methanol and oxygenated fuels. The additive is also compliant with spec fuels and water tests.

The Carb Defender Race Concentrate will also help to remove carbon build up on your valves. A single bottle can treat up to 25 gallons of fuel which is cheap insurance to ensure a long running motor. This is good for regular driving or long term storage.

Whether you have a daily driven car or a full blown race car sitting at home, Carb Defender should be added to your list of maintenance items.
