Even if you’re not a seasoned drag racer, I am quite certain that you still enjoy going quick, fast, and in a hurry. A couple of problems can arise when trying to get the adrenaline rush that driving at high speed delivers. One is, the highway patrol doesn’t like it, and two, it can get expensive after mister state trooper explains how much he doesn’t like it. But now, thanks to Traxxas, you can get that same rush for a fraction of the cost and not have to explain to your wife why she now has to drive you everywhere. Enter the Drag Slash C10.
I feel the latest release from the radio control giant is the coolest one yet. The C10 Drag Slash is A true drag-race RC truck that has been engineered with unbelievable features and innovative performance to ensure you win at any level of skill and experience.
Inside the Drag Slash, Traxxas installed the Pro Series Magnum 272R gearbox that is engineered to deliver a massive amount of torque. I am also told there is something called a Velineon power system that delivers strong and reliable muscle to help lay down the quickest passes. This is a drag truck after all. The exclusive Drag Mode and Trans Brake provide incredible versatility — and Drag Slash does it all with classic Chevy C10 style. The Traxxas philosophy is, this is no prep racing the Traxxas way.
The aforementioned Magnum 272R transmission is built for hard-hitting torque and features a blue-anodized aluminum motor plate, all-metal gears, and a sealed, silicone-filled four-gear differential that is tuned specifically for drag racing and filled with 500K heavy-weight differential fluid.
I know you have heard of traction control, and the Drag Slash is easy to drive like a pro with Traxxas’ Stability Management (TSM). TSM makes racing more fun by allowing the driver to experience the fastest possible straight-line acceleration with incredible stability and precise control. After you cross the finish line, TSM also dramatically improves braking performance and helps prevent spin-outs.
If you think you’re quick on the trigger, the Drag Slash is quicker. Hold the TQi transmitter’s Trans Brake switch and set the throttle at the starting line – when the flag drops, release the switch for the quickest launch every time.
When looking at the Drag Slash, it immediately apparent that scale realism has met engineered performance. What is a drag vehicle without a set of Mickey Thompson ET Drag slicks that feature an innovative carcass design and molded high-density foam inserts for massive traction off the line and down the track. If you’re like us, you really want to know how quick this little hauler really is, and if we can get our hands on one, we’ll let you know.
If you’re looking for a way to get your adrenaline rush from racing but you have a tight budget and don’t want to spend money on speeding tickets, The Drag Slash is the perfect way to get your quarter-mile thrills, even while you are in your driveway.
